Albers Professional Services, LLC DBA Albers Accreditation
Effective Date: May 16, 2026

Albers Professional Services, LLC DBA Albers Accreditation ("we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of clients, prospective clients, and website visitors. This Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our website, consulting services, and business communications.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information that you provide to us directly, including your name, agency or organization, email address, phone number, and inquiry details submitted through our contact forms, intake forms, or scheduling systems. We also maintain records of professional communications, including email, SMS messages, and consultation notes.

Our website may automatically collect standard technical data — such as IP addresses, browser type, and general usage information — through hosting, analytics, and security infrastructure. Cookies and similar technologies may be used to support website operations and security.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, deliver consulting services, schedule and confirm appointments, maintain business records, and communicate with clients about their engagements. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for behavioral advertising or advertising-related profiling.

3. AI-Assisted Tools

We use AI-assisted tools as operational and productivity aids — not as replacements for professional judgment. Human review and oversight remain part of every engagement.

Our workflows are designed to prevent Criminal Justice Information (CJI), CJIS-regulated data, unredacted personally identifiable information, and confidential investigative materials from being submitted to public or consumer-grade AI systems. Where cloud-based AI tools are used, we limit their use to enterprise environments configured to restrict customer data from being used for model training. See our AI Governance & Data Security Statement for additional detail.

4. SMS and Text Messaging

We may communicate with clients and prospective clients by email, phone, and SMS. Text messages are used for operational and transactional purposes only — responding to inquiries, confirming appointments, and providing service-related updates. We do not send promotional advertising campaigns via SMS.

SMS opt-in data — including mobile phone numbers and consent records — is not sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Message frequency may vary.

Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to opt out of SMS communications.

Reply HELP for assistance.

Consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of purchasing services.

5. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only in limited circumstances: with your authorization; with service providers who support our operations (such as scheduling, communications, hosting, and analytics vendors) under appropriate confidentiality obligations; or as required by law, court order, or lawful governmental request.

6. Government Agency Context

We work with public agencies, and we understand that records shared with or held by a government agency may be subject to public records laws, open records obligations, litigation discovery, or other disclosure requirements. We do not control how an agency responds to a public records request directed to them. Clients with specific records management concerns should address them in their service agreement with us.

7. Data Security

We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Emergency Communications

Our email, SMS, contact forms, and scheduling systems are not monitored around the clock and are not appropriate for emergencies or active incidents. In any emergency, contact 911 or your appropriate emergency services provider.

9. Policy Updates

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
