Built to Strengthen Internal Capability

Accreditation should not depend on one person, one consultant, or one assessment cycle. Albers Accreditation works with agencies to strengthen the systems, judgment, and internal ownership needed to sustain the program over time.

Hands-on support can help your staff address immediate needs while building their ability to manage the program over time.

Practitioner Experience

Albers Accreditation was founded by Dan Albers, a law enforcement accreditation professional working in the field since 2013.

That experience comes from coordinating and supporting accreditation work inside the Columbus Division of Police across four reaccreditation cycles, including CALEA Advanced Law Enforcement Accreditation, Ohio Collaborative certification, policy and compliance review, assessment preparation, and organizational improvement.

That practitioner perspective shapes the practice’s approach: practical, evidence-based, and grounded in how accreditation actually functions inside an agency.

About Dan Albers

Start with an Accurate Picture of the Program

Whether an agency is starting an accreditation program, preparing for an assessment, rebuilding a struggling program, or simply wants a clearer understanding of where things stand, the first step is the same: establish the facts, identify risks, and determine what needs attention first.

In our first conversation, we’ll discuss your program, where you are in the accreditation cycle, and whether outside support makes sense.
