Albers Professional Services, LLC DBA Albers Accreditation
Effective Date: September 22, 2026
Albers Professional Services, LLC DBA Albers Accreditation ("we," "our," or "us") respects the privacy of clients, prospective clients, and website visitors. This Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information in connection with our website, consulting services, and business communications.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you provide to us directly, including your name, agency or organization, email address, phone number, and inquiry details submitted through our contact forms, intake forms, or scheduling systems. We also maintain records of professional communications, including email, SMS messages, and consultation notes.
Our website uses analytics and interaction-measurement technologies, including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. These services may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, pages visited, and interactions with the site. Cookies and similar technologies support website operations, security, and analytics. Clarity provides behavioral analytics, including session replay and heatmaps, to help us understand how visitors use the site.
Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity are disabled for visitors identified as being in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland.
Contact form submissions are processed through Web3Forms, which stores submissions and delivers them by email to Albers Accreditation. Analytics and form providers may also process technical information necessary to operate, secure, and provide their services.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries, deliver consulting services, schedule and confirm appointments, maintain business records, and communicate with clients about their engagements. We also use website analytics to understand site usage and improve usability. We do not sell personal information or run behavioral advertising or remarketing campaigns. Microsoft's separate processing of Clarity data is described below.
3. AI-Assisted Tools
We use AI-assisted tools to support our operations and productivity. These tools do not replace professional judgment. Our policy requires human review and oversight in every consulting engagement.
Our policy prohibits submitting Criminal Justice Information (CJI), CJIS-regulated data, unredacted personally identifiable information, and confidential investigative materials to public or consumer-grade AI systems. For cloud-based AI used in consulting work, our policy requires enterprise environments with provider terms and settings that restrict the use of customer inputs for model training. Those terms and settings must be checked before use. See our AI Governance & Data Security Statement for additional detail.
4. SMS and Text Messaging
We may communicate with clients and prospective clients by email, phone, and SMS. Text messages are used for operational and transactional purposes only: responding to inquiries, confirming appointments, and providing service-related updates. We do not send promotional advertising campaigns via SMS.
SMS opt-in data, including mobile phone numbers and consent records, is not sold, shared, or disclosed to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Message frequency may vary.
Message and data rates may apply.
Reply STOP to opt out of SMS communications.
Reply HELP for assistance.
Consent to receive SMS communications is not a condition of purchasing services.
5. Information Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information in limited circumstances: with your authorization; with service providers who support our operations (such as scheduling, communications, hosting, and form processing) under appropriate confidentiality obligations; through the website analytics described in this Policy; or as required by law, court order, or lawful governmental request.
Through Clarity, Microsoft receives website usage data and acts as an independent controller. Microsoft may use this data for its own purposes, including Microsoft Advertising, as described in the Microsoft Privacy Statement. This is separate from Albers Accreditation's use of analytics to improve the website.
6. Government Agency Context
We work with public agencies, and we understand that records shared with or held by a government agency may be subject to public records laws, open records obligations, litigation discovery, or other disclosure requirements. We do not control how an agency responds to a public records request directed to them. Clients with specific records management concerns should address them in their service agreement with us.
7. Data Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical, and operational safeguards to protect the information we hold. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Emergency Communications
Our email, SMS, contact forms, and scheduling systems are not monitored around the clock and are not appropriate for emergencies or active incidents. In any emergency, contact 911 or your appropriate emergency services provider.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision.
